The southern region is also expected to be affected by wind and rain. The Campus Safety Center reminds everyone to take note of the following precautions and prepare for typhoon and flood prevention:

.Move important documents and equipment in basements to higher, safer locations for storage.
.Ensure that all doors and windows in offices, laboratories, classrooms, and buildings are securely closed.
.Check glass doors and windows for any damage, and ensure they are firmly installed to withstand wind and rain.
.Secure balcony plants and hanging decorations to prevent them from falling and causing injury.
.Clear any obstacles from evacuation and escape routes to ensure safe passage.
.Remove debris and trash from rooftops and drainage channels to keep them clear and unobstructed.
.Do not enter flooded underground parking areas.
.Take care to avoid slips and falls caused by wet floors.
.Dormitory residents and students living off-campus should prepare essential supplies in advance and avoid going outdoors during the typhoon.
